KORODUR 05
for KORODUR Hard
Aggregate Industrial Floors
DESCRIPTION
KORODUR VS 0/5 – hard aggregate, acc. to DIN 1100–A 0/5. KORODUR VS 0/5 – hard aggregate produced from high grade components including quartz sand and tough by-products from electro metallurgical melting processes.
KORODUR VS 0/5 guarantees outstanding tensile and compressive strength values, very favourable wearing properties and imparts stable anti-skid properties to industrial flooring surfaces.
For the use in hard aggregate screeds acc. to DIN 18 560-7, „cementitious hard aggregate screed in one layer as composite screed on base concrete
APPLICATION
Specially qualified for sole concrete techniques, concrete with plasticizer, concrete with or without reinforcement, steel fibre reinforced concrete, vacuum concrete.
For all hard aggregate industrial flooring areas with power trowelling. The use of KORODUR VS 0/5 allows power trowelling without unfavourable concentration of fine particles at the surface. Optimum surface sealing. No shrinkage or contraction cracks where the material is correctly installed.
For use in areas of combined rolling, ramming and grinding stress, percussion, pressure and impact. Able to withstand the sliding and rolling of work parts, plant traffic of all kinds, fork-lift traffic, crawler tractor traffic and transporting equipment with steel wheels etc.
PROPERTIES
• resistant to gasoline, mineral oil, solvents
• highly wear resistant even under the most severe stress
• fork lift-truck resistant
• water resistant, qualified for wet rooms
• anti-skid, non slip in wet rooms
• frost and de-icer resistant
• non-rusting
• electrostatic non-chargeable
• high surface density
• physiological and ecological harmless
• easy to clean
Certification: DIN EN ISO 9001:2000

GROUPS OF MECHANICAL STRESS DIN 18 560, Part 7, Table 1
| Stress group | mobile industrial handling equipment, kind of tires 1) | operational processes and pedestrian traffic |
| I (heavy) | steel and polyamide | processing, sliding and rolling of metal parts, placing down of goods by means of metal forks, pedestrian traffic of more than 1.000 persons/day |
| II (medium) | urethane-elastomer and rubber | sliding and rolling of wood, paper rolls and plastic castings, pedestrian traffic of 100 to 1.000 persons/day |
| III (light) | solid tires and pneumatic tires | assembly areas (on tables), pedestrian traffic up to 100 persons/day |
| 1) refers only to clean tires. Pressed in grit and dirt on tires increase the stress. | ||
Remarks:
Where loading and abrasion potential is beyond the guidelines for „Stress group I“, e.g. assembly of heaviest equipment or traffic of heaviest vehicles (crawlers) special precautionary measures must be taken.
