NEODUR HE2/HE3

DESCRIPTION

NEODUR HE 2 and HE 3 - acc. to DIN 18557 (factory produced mortars) and DIN EN 13813, ready to use, cementitious dry mortars for the production of industrial floors in sprinkling method. Available in colours, see our KORODUR colour chart.

APPLICATION

For industrial floors to improve the surface hardness and the wear resistance of the floors being subjected to direct industrial stress. Indoors and outdoors.

TECHNICAL DATA

raw material basis: hard aggregate

mixture with special cements

NEODUR HE 3 SVS1,5: ≤ 1,5 cm3/50 cm2

* physical data measured at specially produces specimen

CONSUMPTION

In middle approx. 3-5 kg/m2 NEODUR. In case of NEODUR HE 2 and HE 3 coloured execution, it is recommended to use 5 - 6 kg/m2 to achieve uniform colour intensity.

PROCESSING

NEODUR HE 2 and HE 3 are processed in sprinkling method for the production of industrial screeds with integrated wearing surface.

Precondition for a correct processing of NEODUR is the correct initial consistency of the previously installed concrete or screed (Attention: not for airentrained concrete!).

The installed concrete/screed must have set so far that the surface is just walkable.

As soon as this point of time is given, the concrete/screed is trowelled by means of disk float in order to concentrate cement paste on the surface as bond aid.

Apply NEODUR HE 2 resp. HE 3 uniformly in dry condition. Immediately after moisture penetration, work in the NEODUR material by using disk float.

A further analogous installation procedure can be carried out as long as the NEODUR dry mortar still moistens. Afterwards timely smoothing of the surface by using wing float.

AFTER-TREATMENT

Differing temperatures may influence the setting and hardening procedure. The produced NEODUR industrial floor must be protected from too rapid drying out acc. to DIN 1045. We recommend an after-treatment with KOROTEX or KOROSEAL, see technical data sheet.

HINTS

These products contain cement and have an alkaline reaction with moisture/water. Therefore protect hands and eyes. In case of contact with eyes consult a doctor. Our recommendations for application techniques are based on our experiences. It is recommended to adapt processing and material quantities to the given local conditions and we refer in this context to our general terms of sale and delivery. Further literature, processing hints, tender texts and test certificates on the different KORODUR industrial flooring systems, KORODUR floor hardeners, KORODUR dry mortars and special products are available on request.
